Heather (she/her), Senior Consultant is a SHIFT-IT®️ Visual Coach, Appreciative Inquiry Facilitator, Appreciative Resilience Facilitator, Virtual Facilitator (INIFAC), and SAFe Scrum XP.  Also known as “The VizCoach,” Heather uses visual templates to help clients see what they are saying and document their progress.

Heather’s ideal coachee is in the midst of transition who is entering into an unknown space or uncharted waters. She loves working with visionaries and those in supportive roles who are mission driven.

“I worked with the deputy director of Analysis for an intelligence agency in Washington, D.C. to create a year-in-review that he could use to report up, out, and down in the organization. The purpose was to inform the Director of the agency and other leaders of past-year accomplishments and the strategic vision the directorate will take to serve the mission. We met for a series of coaching sessions that aligned with the 5D Appreciative Inquiry Framework: Define, Discovery, Dream, Design, and Destiny/Deliver. I used visuals to facilitate the conversations which led to a graphic that he used to present the accomplishments and vision. The graphic was distributed and leveraged as a change management tool for those who reported up to him. The visual represented a unifying message that was communicated on all levels of the agency and positioned the deputy director as a leader in the organization that modeled the way for other leaders.“
